Unsuspecting Ordinary Fish

I am going to start signing everything “michael p. fay” so people ask me what I have been up to. I would say, ‘painting, mostly.’

But there I was. Dropped into this digital oratory like a fish thrown back.

I slowed for a moment.  Stopped.  Gathered my wits.  Swam away.

Simply an unsuspecting ordinary fish.
